The Joys Of Being A Mom!

Payton is now a little over 10 months old and growing bigger and bigger everyday. She just recently learned how to do the army crawl and is almost ready to crawl on her hands and knees. The other morning I got her up and ready to go and left her on the living room floor to play while I went to wake up Hunter and gethim ready, not even 5 minutes went by from going into Hunter's room and getting him up and getting his clothes to change him into I came back into the living room to find her under the coffee table playing with toys. It was the cutest thing ever.

Yesterday we had her on the floor playing and as I was in the kitchen making dinner I came out to check on them and she managed to crawl into her saucer toy just chillin and trying to reach for toys outside the saucer. Soon she'll be all over the place.

Hunter when he was at that age he would pick things up off the floor and hand them to you, Payton totally oppisite whatever she finds on the floor and it could be the littlest crumb she will pick it up and put it straight in her mouth. I have to vacuum my floor twice a day just to be careful of what she puts in her mouth.
This is my cute little couch potato eating cheetos and watching Finding Nemo.
Hunter playing at the park. I love being a mom it is the greatest gift ever. My kids are so dang cute!

A co worker of mine lost her 4 yr old nephew in a traject accident. He was playing on the couch by the window and they live in an apartment on the third floor well he pushed on the window screen and it fell out and because he pushed so hard on it he went with it and fell 3 stories down and when he landed his head hit the guardrail fence below and had severe head trauma he died the next morning. It makes you think that the littlest things like can happen at anytime. So now I am so paranoid of everything for the fear of losing one of my kids to something trajec like that. I found out that you could call a professional home saftey specialist that will come out to your home for free and tell you how to child proof your home correctly to reduce the numbers of kids getting hurt or killed these days. I will find the number and post it for all you that have children.
