Christmas

Well another Christmas come and gone! Last year Payton was 8 weeks old now she's 1 and had so much fun opening her gifts! Hunter had a blast opening his gifts every gift he opened he wanted us to open it so he could play with it but we had to keep him going with all the other gifts first then he could play. His all time favorite gift was the CARS tool box he played with it all weekend long. Payton's all time favorite was her Tinkerbell pillow and the big stuffed bunny. Bodie had to work from 6am to 6pm on Christmas Day so we didn't have Christmas until about 7pm but it was worth the wait. Every gift Hunter opened he was so excited to yell, "Daddy look what Santa brought me!" He is getting so big and cuter everyday. Payton she was so happy with her stuffed bunny she didn't really care about the other gifts she got. Christmas was great this year not only for the gifts but because Hunter understood the real story behing christmas. He woke up Christmas morning ready to open gifts but ssaid to me "Mommy I want to wish Jesus a Happy Birthday, so Happy Birthday Jesus." It was the cutest most precious thing ever. It was great to just be with family and enjoy the time we had. Here are some of the pictures taken on Christmas Day!

Spiritual Experience

Some of you may or may not know that I have fallen away from the church but lately have returned. My husband on the other hand is so against the church for something that happen to him years and years ago but he won't let it go. He is very loving and supportive of me going but he just rather not go. My sister and brother in law this past February were sealed to each other and their kids in the temple and I remember seeing as they walked out of the temple the joy they had on their face and I said to myself I want that for my family. I went to my grandfather before he recently passed away and talked to him about it explaining my situation and he looked at me with a soft sweet smile and said, "As long as you do your part the Lord will do his." I never told anyone about what my grandfather had said and just kept it to myself. So this past Thursday I went to talk to my bishop about some fo my feelings and asking for his help in acheiving this goal. As I talked to him he stopped me and said, "The spirit is telling me to tell you, that as long as you do your part the Lord will do his." I just started to cry and explained to the bishop that my grandfather was the only one who told me that. I knew my grandfather was there right next to me when I was talking to the bishop. It was an amazing feeling knowing that I have the Lord on my side and will help my acheive this goal. All I ask is for all you to please keep my husband in your prayers that someday he will have a change of heart and we will be able to get sealed for time and all eternity in the temple. Thank you so much!

Family Update!

Sorry its been awhile since my last posting things have been busy. Where to begin.... Well as for the kids they are growing so much everyday its amazing but also kinda sad I wish they would stay small for forever but then again I get so excited when they grow and learn something new. Hunter loves to sing with the radio in the car when we drive it is the cutest thing ever. He doesn't get all the words but he tries his hardest and I love it. He also loves to read books he doesn't know how to read but watching him hold the book and make up something like he's reading is so adorable. He is so good to his sister he will play with her all day long and get mad at me if I have to put her down for her afternoon nap or for bedtime. Payton can almost walk now she can pull herself up and walk as long as she is holding onto something but as soon as she lets go down she goes but she doesn't give up she will get up and try it again it is so stinkin cute. Here are just some fun random pictures I've taken in the last couple of days. Hunter got a new haircut and looks so handsome.

Payton's First Birthday

I can't believe my little princess is now a year old. I remember like it was yesterday holding her in my arms for the first time the day she was born and now a year later she will hardley let me hold her she rather be off crawling or attempting to walk.
Watching her grow this past year as been such a blessing and more blessings to come as I watch her and Hunter grow even more. Here are a few pictures of the birthday party she loved her cake.

Family Update!

As you all may know from my facebook page my husband's grandpa died this pass Tuesday night. He has been battling with his kidneys for quiet sometime and our Heavely Father decided it was his time to come home to him. Its a very sad time for us right but all we can do is look back at all the great times we have had. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to all who knew him. He lived a very LDS life and will be forever missed. I have posted some pictures of the good times we have had together like @ Hunter's birthday party.

As for the rest of the family Hunter is doing much better from having the swine flu. I went to pick him up from daycare yesterday after work and when I got there all I saw was s huge goose bump on his forehead and his eye was a little swollen, what happened was one of the other kids was swinging a toy around and Hunter was walking by and got nailed right in the head with the toy. I was an accident and my daycare lady felt so horrible but he's doing ok here is a picture of his poor head.

As for Payton she has been doing the army crawl for awhile now and about 2 weeks ago she started on her hands and knees and not even 4 days later she was pulling herself up on things and took her first steps along the couch this last Monday. She will be one next month. I can't believe she'll be one already how time flys by but this past year watching her grow and learn has been the most wonderful experience and wouldn't change being a mom for anything in this world. I love my two adorable kids very much. They are my pride and joy! Here is a couple pictures of Payton standing and one of her waving. I'll try to be better at updating my blog more.
