Day with Thomas the Train

Hunter absolutley loves trains. Everytime we are in the car and he sees railroad crossing sings he gets so excited. I work at the Hilton out by the airport and if you drive down 5600 west straight to my work you have to go over a set of train tracks. Almost every other friday morning when I take the kids and go pick up my pay check there is always a train that passes by and Hunter gets so excited everytime. So whe I heard Thomas the train was coming to the Heber Valley railroad we had to get tickets to go. They were $18 for a 30 minute ride on Thomas the train but had a whole day of activites for the kids afterwards so it was worth the $18 dollars. Although Hunter had tonz of fun on the train and some of the outdoor activites he got so terrified of Sir Topham Hat the dressed up conductor he would not sit still for the picture unless Bodie and I were holding him tight but you can see the fear in his poor little eyes. Also he would not pet the baby donkeys either he was also scared of them but he enjoyed the other activites but most of all the train ride.

6 Months Old

Payton will be 6 months old on the 18th. I can't believe how fast she's growing. Hunter absolutly loves his little sister. He tries to help me in any way he can. He will share all his toys with her and it is so precious. But that is not the only thing he likes to share he thinks he can share his food too. For example he just got done eating his lunch and I gave him a chocolate pudding for dessert and Payton was in her swing playing so I went to the restsoom and was gone no more than 2 minutes came back into the kitchen area and Hunter was over by Payton with a spoonful of chocolate pudding trying to feed her. Payton had pudding all over her face. She actually enjoyed the pudding but I had to tell Hunter that she's too little to have food like that. But it was so cute that he loves his sister that much to share his pudding with her.
Speaking of food we started her on baby food now and she so far loves the fruits but hates the vegetables. Here is a picture of her when we gave her "peas"
not the greatest face she hated them but was hungry enough to finnish off the jar. But here are some pictures of the two of them together and pictures of just payton and how big she is now. Enjoy!!Headed to the park all bundled up!

Mothers Day

This year Mothers Day was so nice except for the fact I had to work but the rest of the day was so wonderful to just spend with my wonderful hubby and beautiful kids. Hunter picked me flowers from our apartment complex's garden which was so cute. Payton can't do much but still was just as cute. My husband made a delicious dinner, did the dishes, and bathed both kids and put them to bed while I relaxed which was so sweet of him. Then the two of us watched a movie. It was a very nice relaxing day.
